You can use the constraints of your work or fictionalize the purpose as long as it makes sense and the episodes hang together in a context that you write-up briefly in the this design doc. I can provide more detail feedback when I see the Content structure you plan. (be sure to check the monitor this topic below so you will be notified when I reply).

\nJust an FYI -- You mentioned Dr Mayer's work on the two channels but that only applies to multimedia learning when both channels are simultaneously present and with just audio podcasts you are using a single channel. But I think you meant this when you were thinking of using it as a supplemental learning format to a text book with images or movies. You may or may not need to use his work if you dont go this way.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"12642727","body":"RE: Dr. Mayer...what you say makes sense. I was just pulling ideas out of my hat without critical thought:)

\nI think I will have to fictionalize the distribution method to students so that the product for this course is a genuine podcast, but maintain the same audience strictures my work's earth science course poses.
